Getting social for Samsung: The Boosted campaign started with a big bang from Tweet Wrap, a simple site that let you create and receive a roll of customized gift wrap paper. We followed it up with a Facebook photo contest for the most creatively wrapped gift. It went viral very quickly, and the free wrapping paper was all snapped up within a few hours.  (Fortunately, Samsung added more free rolls for the next day.)

This series of web videos is a companion piece to the Defensive Help Line. Using the same celebrities, we try to build up our fans’ confidence, so they can convince their mates to let them get a new Samsung HDTV.

Begging is so undignified. We decided to help inadequately TV’d football fans the American way: by enlisting the help of celebrities. Users entered the details of the person they needed to convince on this form. She (yep, it was like 90% men begging women) got a customized phone call from a celebrity making the argument for a new Samsung HDTV. We also boosted football fans’ confidence with the Offensive Advisor videos.
